Camp KDE 2009: Another sponsor announced
November 8, 2008
I just received the green light to announce another sponsor for the January Camp KDE event in Jamaica. Who are they?
Hint: They engage in making, marketing, and selling integrated circuits for computing and communications industries worldwide. It offers microprocessor products, including multi-core processors, quad-core microprocessors, 32-bit architecture microprocessors, and 64-bit architecture microprocessors used in mobile and desktop computers, enterprise computer servers, and workstations. Oh, and they have over 80,000 employees.
Yes, it’s Intel. Helio was kind enough to introduce me to Sulamita Garcia of the Intel Open Source Technology Center. We spoke a while ago, and she just responded today with a very gracious offer. I can’t wait to speak with her further about Intel’s planned participation in the event.
Thanks to Helio, Sulamita and Intel. We’ll move to add Intel to the Camp KDE sponsors page.
