Yeah, the colors are a variant on the “blue for boys, pink for girls” theme. I didn’t want to modify the images between the male and female because 1) I wanted to show that all Gearheads are the same and 2) I’m lazy.
Very observant: Kate and Kile. Two KDE apps, and two names.
